Al and his crew did 2 jobs for us. First one was a rush and they were there to do it and got it done before the insurance deadline. The second job I didn't expect to get done before holidays but Al and his crew did a great job and both the slider and back door were installed way before the holidays. Al and his crew are very professional, clean and fast. I would recommend him to anyone that needs work done

I knew as soon as we decided to build that I wanted Al and his team to be the ones to do the job! They’ve had a great reputation for providing quality work for years and knowing exactly what I wanted for our home, I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else. Al was responsive and always there to answer my questions and provide feedback/opinions when I asked for suggestions or his expert advice. His crew always showed up when they said they would and on time each day! Justin is extremely attentive and detail oriented which made the process go smoothly and bring our vision to life! I have waited one year to post my review on my new construction home build completed by Al Gamache & Son, so that I could give an accurate review of all phases of the project. My husband and I first started this project in the summer of 2019, he helped me find someone to draw up plan designs, helped pull permits for demo of the exsisting house, listened to all my complaining while I dealt with Conservation Committee issues (all of this before I ever even signed a contract with him to build my home). Al is very easy to talk to, work with, and very knowledgeable about sub contractors and who he would recommend for the areas he did not cover in our contract (I learned a lesson the hard way, by not following Al's recommendation on the Kitchen Contractor.) His crew of guys were always very friendly and his son, Justin was always very patient with me and with all my questions. Both Al & Justin were also very good with dealing with my Dad, who showed up almost daily to oversee every aspect of the build, and all the changes he wanted to make. Dad knows best, but Al always made sure to check in with me for final input. We moved into our home in May 2021, the pandemic presented a lot of challenges and slowed things down but Al and his crew worked as fast and best they could to get us into our new home. It felt like forever, but boy was it worth the wait! After we moved in small issues would arrive here and there and Al/Justin were always right over to address them promptly. It has now been a year since we moved in and I think we are pretty well off (still a slight issue with basement plumbing being worked out) but overall, I am completely satisfied with Al and his whole team! I would definately recommend him to anyone who is building a home or in need of any kind of home improvement. He is a real straight shooter! Thank You a million times, Al, for a beautiful home to raise my family in! We LOVE it, and it's plenty big after all my worrying that it wouldn't be! 😂

Over the years I have worked with several contractors and have never been totally satisfied with their work until working with Al Gamache and Son Carpenter and Builder. Not only did they do excellent work but they went beyond the original scope of contracted work to fix things that other contractors screwed up. I cannot say enough good things about Al and the crew he had working on our home. They are the best contractor I have ever used!
